Continuing from our last post, let’s highlight 3 key design concepts for your Front Yard Landscape.
1…Create an inviting approach to lead or the draw the eye to the main entrance. Use framing trees to guide the eye, seasonal color and/or a focal point such as a unique specimen tree, garden art, or a garden bench.

2. Compliment the architectural elements such as your house’s corners, windows, or special feature. Use plants to anchor the corners, stay below windows, and highlight stand out features with seasonal color or framing accent plants.

3. Lastly, make sure to keep landscape simple and flowing…not too busy. Balance plant choices, using 2 or 3 plant types that repeat the same color and texture. This technique will keep the view for passers-by pleasant and welcoming.
